Rolls in Line (3D Noughts & Crosses or 3x3x3 TicTacToe)

Rolls in Line can be played by two or more persons, depending on the version, even by blind persons. The players have to put pieces onto some sticks, one by one, trying to obtain a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of the same color. The objective of the game is to make more horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines of the same color.

There are two versions of the game: 3x3 or 4x4 Rolls in Line and competition 3D Logic Game.

Rules for "3, 4 (or more) rolls in line"
The players have to put the pieces, one by one, on any of the sticks, trying to obtain a three, four (or more) rolls horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of the same color.

When he has finished a complete line, the player has the right to take an opponent's piece, following the next rule: only the unused pieces and the last pieces on the sticks can be captured; a complete 4x4 line cannot be broken. The winner will be the one who make more "3, 4 (or more) rolls in line" or has captured more of the opponent's pieces.

At any time, a player can put on the lid and turn the game upside down if ,using this maneuver, he will obtain the winning line. If not, the player should exit and the game will continue with the remaining players.

Due to the special design of the pieces, all the versions of the Rolls in Line game can be played by blind persons.

Rules for competition 3D Logic Game
At the beginning of the game, each player will choose a color.The players can choose between two kinds of game. One uses a blue grid for the classical 4x4 game and the other uses a red grid for the combined 3, 4 or 5 in line.

4x4 mode. The players have to put the pieces, one by one, on any of the sticks, trying to obtain a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of four rolls of the same color. When a line has been completed, the player has the right to take an opponent piece, with the following exceptions: only the unused pieces and the last pieces on the sticks can be removed; a 4x4 line cannot be broken. Capture of the pieces is possible only in a two player game and must be agreed at start.

The winner will be the player who makes more "4 rolls in line" or has captured more opponent pieces. At any time, a player can put on the lid and turn the game upside down if ,using this maneuver, he will obtain the winning line. If not, the player should exit and the game will continue with the remaining players.

Competition mode. At the beginning of the game, the players must choose if all or only some of the sticks will be mounted. The players have to put the pieces, one by one, on any of the mounted sticks, trying to obtain a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of the same color. Using mobile sticks, the players can mount a stick instead of a piece. A 5-piece line scores 4 points, a 4-piece line scores 2 points, and a 3-piece line scores 1 point. The winner will be the player who has scored the most points. Capture is not allowed in the competition mode. At any time, a player can put on the lid and turn the game upside down if he will obtain a line. If not, the player should exit and the game will continue with the remaining players.
